Research Interest:
I am currently working on the lithium transition metal phosphates LiMPO4
(M = Fe, Ni, Co, Cu). Single crystals of LiNiPO4, LiFePO4 and LiCuPO4
were grown by flux method or hydrothermal methods. The magnetic phase
transitions and magnetic properties of pure LiNiPO4, LiNiPO4 doped with
different iron concentration were studied by SQUID and Neutron diffraction.
My previous interests also include recrystallization kinetics, particularly the
effects of particles and process parameters in directional
recrystallization, and the morphology evolution in diffusion controlled
direction solidification process.

Ni, Co, Fe; R - rare earth elements) as high potential cathodes for
Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.
